Scott Crosweller

Director - Management Solutions

Scott is a respected business leader with broad experience across operations, sales, finance, strategy and executive management. As the founder of a national waste management business that was later sold to an ASX200-listed company, he brings a strong track record of building, leading and growing businesses in complex operating environments.

With a hands-on leadership style and a strong commercial mindset, Scott has consistently delivered value through operational improvement, strategic growth and effective stakeholder engagement. He is known for stepping into diverse business environments, understanding what drives performance and aligning people, process and strategy to achieve sustainable results.

Scott’s core strengths include problem-solving, organisational leadership, culture and compliance, stakeholder engagement and strategy execution. He also brings substantial experience across transport, processing and logistics operations, including the management of operational, financial, safety and market risks within regulated and high-pressure environments.

Nathan Crosweller

Nathan is a capable and outcomes-focused Project Engineer with experience delivering technical projects, often involving challenging scopes and practical problem-solving. With a strong foundation in engineering design, project management and site-based delivery, he brings balanced capability across both technical and hands-on project execution.

Previously responsible for managing projects with a value of up to $1.4M, Nathan has experience coordinating project activities from planning through to execution, including procurement, contractor coordination, quality assurance, safety and stakeholder engagement. He is known for approaching challenging scopes in a collaborative way, identifying practical pathways forward and supporting teams to deliver reliable project outcomes.

Our Team’s Previous Experience

  • National Recycling Group

    Provided executive leadership, led national operations, sales and strategic direction of National Recycling Group Pty Ltd (NRG) with direct responsibility for strategic direction, safety, operational, financial performance of the business. Had direct oversight of the merger and integration of four companies which formed NRG and the sale of the business to an ASX 200 listed company in February 2018.

  • Cleanaway

    Led the delivery of a $1M+ brownfield 20T shredder replacement project. The replacement was completed within a four-day production shutdown without the need for major roof removal works. The project included structural modifications, conveyor redesigns, VSD installations, SCADA programming, custom wear liner design and installation and modifications to align with locally available parts.

  • DATS Environmental Services

    Founded DATS Environmental Services, established and grew a profitable market leading waste management and recycling business, built on customer service, coordinated organic growth and the acquisitions of four competing businesses.

  • Global Renewables

    Designed, built and commissioned a cost-effective chain conveyor lubrication system after available market solutions were found to be unsuitable and cost prohibitive. The system was custom developed to suit site requirements and integrated into the centralised SCADA control system. Ongoing operation of the system was supported through the development of operations, maintenance and troubleshooting manuals for plant personnel.

  • NSW Rural Fire Service

    Developed and implemented a Northern Beaches district wide strategic planning and engagement program impacting over 2,000 volunteers and generated a new focus on key improvement areas. This enabled new initiatives to be developed and implemented across critical areas of Recruitment/Retention, Training, Operational Preparedness, Community Engagement, Mitigation and ICT.

  • Melbourne Recycling Centre

    Developed and implemented a restructuring strategy which delivered increased revenues and margins off the back of management and key staff realignments as well as a capex and retooling of the business.

  • Wanless Waste Management

    Worked with the owner to review, restructure and expand the waste management division of the business which included resource recovery processing, landfill operations and scrap metal recycling. Key achievements included branding, compliance, key staff appointments in addition to development and implementation of growth strategies in NSW, VIC and establishing a new business in QLD.

  • Global Renewables

    Engaged subject matter experts, consultants and site managers to challenge a circa $2M regulator-driven requirement for ventilation scrubbers. By supporting the development of a technical justification using plume modelling and historical operating data, it was demonstrated that the required treatment outcome could be achieved through the existing biofilter system. This resulted in the initial scrubber requirement being downgraded, avoiding a significant capital investment.

  • Cleanaway

    Delivered a $500k+ custom refinery bypass conveyor circuit to maintain processing operations while a fire-damaged building was rebuilt. The project was delivered in a constrained brownfield environment where regulator requirements meant processing activities needed to remain indoors throughout the restoration period. The scope included the installation of approximately 150m of conveyors at height, with fixed and mobile plant operating nearby. The delivery phase maintained strong safety controls with no safety incidents.

  • NSW Rural Fire Service

    Review of management processes and compliance for Northern Beaches District senior leadership team and broader volunteer brigade consultative committees. Conducted dispute resolution and performance management for volunteers and brigade organisations, including plan of management development and oversight of organisational repositioning and member re-engagement resulting from significant leadership disruption.
